Sheet metal is his World

Erik, born in 1988, became part of our team in 2010 as a trained vehicle manufacturer. Since then, he has been managing all aspects of fabrication and restauration in our body shop.

Body and vehicle construction – that sounds substantial- and it is. With Erik, the Classic Cars, which are to be fully restored, are lovingly treated in their origin. Zinc coated and welded here, rusty parts are fully or partially replaced. If the original body can no longer be used in large parts, Erik even fabricates entire fenders from steel sheets. A good day’s work: actually seeing what you have created.

When asked how he would describe his work with us in five words, Erik grins: “Dirty, but great and fulfilling!” A man of clear words!

Though it can be a little more detailed: „Each body tells me their story about their lives. Was there an accident? How was it treated? This is interesting to me.“ On working with us, Erik appreciates the feeling of belonging together like in a family, but also that he has a great scope for action. Erik enjoys the proximity to our customers, who can also look over his shoulder if they’re interested. It is hardly necessary to mention that Erik has been a fan of cars since early childhood and that he likes to work on his own racing car in his spare time, a BMW E34 Coupé. It is remarkable – but the love for BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Porsche can be combined in one person – Erik is the living example: the complete M series from BMW, the Audi Quattro, the Porsche 911 or the „Rote Sau“ from Mercedes – Erik loves them all!
