Jaguar E-Type (EZ 1970)

the first report: the bottom edge of the door on the drivers side of the Jaguar E-Type is corroded. Is a partial replacement possible?

The door is being taken apart and it becomes obvious: the rust ate away the whole door. A full replacement is necessary

Removal of the shell: It has to be replaced

The door frame is free now and is being restored by us: partial renewal through body work and treatment with rust converter, partially primed

A difference like day and night: The new outer shell is here, partially primed

Frame and outer shell are put together RIMG0288, fitted to the Jaguar, clearances are being checked and set

the colour accurate paint job including a colour sample beforehand, as well as reworking the side panels and fender are making the restoration become invisible

after painting: the door is being finalized, lock and window regulator are tested – Everything’s perfect! Have a good drive!
